Torredembarra is a town on the coast of Tarragona situated 60 km away from the south-west of Barcelona. The town is very quiet during winter due to its population which is only 15,000 citizens, but this number triples during summer since it is the favourite summer vacation destination for those whose habitual residence place is Barcelona and they choose Torredembarra as their second residence since it is a quiet place with great beaches perfect for relaxation.
Another important detail is the fact that it is a town with many places of interest and historical monuments such as a castle constructed at the beginning of the XVII century. Parts of ancient walls which delimited the town as well as a famous XII century tower, an ancient San Pedro Apóstol Church and a famous lighthouse can also be found here.
