Spectacular Farmhouse in Penedés

Has an original history

Built in 1880, the concept of this property was to make a large glass factory there, just to provide the surrounded wineries. The industrial style of the late nineteenth century is present in the large windows and arches that surround all the walls of the main nave. As well as on the high ceilings of the building built for the small workshops and factory offices.

The initial project was changed, and during the following century it changed uses without ever becoming a factory. Until ending up hosting a restaurant there that worked for a long time, becoming known in the area.

The importance of this iconic Noucentista building, already essential in the Penedés landscape, has been rewarded by including it in the Catalogue of Architectural Heritage of the Generalitat de Catalunya within the Municipal Urban Development Plan.
