Cambrils is a magnificent resort for gourmets and families with children. It is referred to as the food capital of the Costa Dorada and is famous for its wide sand beaches. The beachfront of Cambrils stretches to 10 kilometres and is divided into 9 golden-sand beaches.
The beaches of Cambrils have a long flat entrance to the sea which makes the town ideal for family vacations. The beaches are equipped with sports grounds, there is Club Nàutic Cambrils sailing school and Estació Nàutica Costa Dorada yacht club. Cambrils is a paradise for golf lovers. There are three prestigious golf clubs including the famous Mong Roig within a radius of 25 km from the town. The Montbrio-del-Camp resort famous for its thermal water springs is situated close to Cambrils. It is located on the hills, just 6 km from the beach.
