No doubt, Passeig de Gracia is the most glamorous and one of the most important streets of high level in Europe where business and leisure come together. It is one of the most expensive streets in Spain with many impressive buildings of tourist attraction. The history of Passeig de Gracia is closely connected with the history of the city at the end of the XIX century and at the beginning of the XX century.
In that historic period Passeig de Gracia became the hub of the city. The street starts at Plaza Catalunya and goes up to the main street of the district of Gracia. It is crossed by two main streets of Barcelona, Gran Vía de las Cortes Catalanas and Avenida Diagonal.
The property is located on Pau Claris, a street parallel to Passeig de Gracia, and between Provença and Mallorca streets. The flat is situated on the same height as Sagrada Familia, seven streets down to the north.
The building where the flat is situated was built in the year 1885. It is a historical building that was one of the first houses of the widening project of the city. It is a rehabilitated solid construction in excellent condition. The entrance to the building leads to an impressive elegant hallway with magnificent painted traditional ceilings. It is a splendid modernist house.
The elegant entrance to the flat has tinted windows that provide light. On the left from the hallway there are two double bedrooms preceded by two smaller rooms one of which can be used as private hallway for the bedrooms. The other room preceding two big bedrooms, a bigger one, can also be used as a wadrobe, an office or a living room since it is of an individual room size.
On the other side of the hallway there is a corridor that leads to other rooms of the flat, two bedrooms, an individual and a double one, one on each side. At the end of the corridor there is a kitchen, followed by a living-dining room and entrance to the main bedroom preceded by a room now used as a wardrobe. The living room and the main bedroom are connected with a magnificent closed balcony, a spacious place with big windows and a lot of light that can be used in many different ways. It can also become a part of the living room, making the dining area more spacious, or be converted into an office or a study zone.
Artisanal ceilings and original mosaic floors have been preserved since the construction of the flat.
It is a big classic-style flat in an exceptional zone that could be perfectly reformed and converted into an impressive flat combining high-class luxury with modernist style that has created the proper style of Barcelona.
