Goran Bregovic Concert

Goran Bregovic, a Serbian musician famous for his soundracks to films of Emir Kusturica, will perform in Barcelona during "Mil·lenni" festival.

Bruno Mars concert

Singer, composer and producer Peter Gene Hernandez, a Grammy award winner, known as Bruno Mars, will present his third album, "24K Magic".

Jay-Jay Johanson Concert

Swedish composer and musician Jay-Jay Johanson, one of the most emblematic trip-hop and downtempo style representatives, will perform during «Mil·lenni» festival with a programme dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the release of his first album, “Whiskey”.

"Open Conde de Godó" tennis tournament

Sports events in Barcelona include "Conde de Godó", one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in Spain. "Open Banc Sabadell Trofeo Conde de Godó" will take place in Barcelona in April where some of the best tennis players such as Fernando Verdasco and Rafa Nadal will play. The tournament is a part of ATP World Tour 500.

Placebo Concert

British alternative rock band celebrates its 20th anniversary and the release of their “A Place For Us To Dream” new album.

Sant Jordi holiday

Meanwhile the rest of Spain celebrates the International Book Day, Catalonia celebrates Sant Jordi combining both traditions: giving books and roses as presents. Men get books (for the international holiday), women get roses (according to the legend, knight Jordi gave a rose to the princess he saved from the dragon). This day Barcelona is decorated with flowers, ribbons and flags, small book counters fill the main streets.

"D’A Festival Internacional de Cinema d’Autor" film festival

At the end of April Barcelona will hold the "D’A" 7th international independent film festival. The showings will take place in different venues: Aribau Club, CCCB and Filmoteca de Cataluña.

FÓRMULA 1, GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA race

The most popular and prestigious competition among the racing drivers all over the world will take place in Barcelona in May. The unique race track challenges the participants even more.

"La Noche de los Museos" the Night of Museums

The Night of Museums is celebrated on the 18th of May worldwide, which is why Barcelona opens the doors of its museums the first Saturday after the holiday. The tradition of organizing cultural events at night time starts in Saint-Petersburg where the “White Nights” festival takes place during the summer solstice period. Paris, Berlin, Belgrade, Madrid and Barcelona decided to maintain the tradition. The timetable and the list of museums participating in the event slightly changes every year, you can find more precise information on the city administration website.

"Primavera Sound" music festival

Starting from 2001, Barcelona hosts an indie-rock festival with local and foreign bands performing at different stages in el Forum industrial park close to the beach.

"The Brothers Karamazov" theatre performance (Los hermanos Karamázov)

The immortal novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky written by José Luis Collado and produced by Gerardo Vera. The cast is led by Juan Echanove.

"Jardines de Pedralbes" music festival

Wonderful summer weather and the refreshing greenery of the Pedralbes Park create the ideal atmosphere for enjoying live music in the open air. Festival de Pedralbes is definitely the most sophisticated and significant music event of the summer in Barcelona.

"Sónar" music festival

The most popular electronic music and multimedia art festival in Barcelona gains more and more visitors year by year. The main performances, installations and conferences take place in two different spaces, Sónar de Día and Sónar de Noche. Some other events in other venues will also take place within the framework of the festival.

Sant Joan holiday

It is the night illuminated by firework lights, fires and sky lanterns. The celebration takes place all over the coast of Barcelona, meanwhile Barceloneta traditionally becomes the centre of the event.

"Rock Fest Barcelona 2017" festival

Such bands as Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Airbourne, Alter Bridge, Hammerfall, Paradise Lost, Avantasia, Europe o W.A.S.P, Eclipse, Saratoga and Ñu will perform during the fourth edition of the rock festival in Barcelona.
